Meet Sarah
Real Estate Broker
Sarah A. Smith
With a strong background in home building and renovations, Sarah knows houses from the ground up. She offers sellers expert guidance on home preparation, hyper-local market trends, pricing strategies, target marketing, and win-win negotiations to maximize returns and minimize surprises. Buyers benefit from her understanding of residential construction, in-depth knowledge of Seattle neighborhoods, patient approach to helping first-time buyers, and excellent track record of favorable outcomes in a competitive market.
Raised in rural Montana along the Blackfoot River, Sarah’s connection to nature, entrepreneurial work ethic, and hands-on construction knowledge stem from working on home building sites in her family’s excavation business. Sarah is passionate about sustainable development, honoring a home’s history, and building trusting relationships with her clients. One of her strongest traits is her gentle perseverance, which helps clients stay the course during discouraging points, and ultimately reach their goals without a hard-sell sales approach.
Sarah enjoys recharging her batteries by playing volleyball, getting outdoors with her husband and English springer spaniel, rolling out pie dough to good music, browsing for rental property, and sitting around the fire with family.

What my clients are saying:
“Sarah is a pleasure to work with! She has helped us buy/sell three homes over the years starting from our starter home as new homebuyers to our current home where we plan to spend the next 20+ years. Sarah's communication style, professionalism, and knowledge of the market stand out the most. I would highly recommend her whether you're selling, buying your first home or buying your 10th home. She always does a fantastic job.”

“Sarah is a wonderful real estate agent who we would highly recommend if you are looking for your first or next home. She is genuine, market savvy and most importantly, patient as you search to find the right home for your needs. Sarah has been our agent for 2 home purchases; the first over 10 years ago and then we came back to her again for our most recent purchase. Each time she provided thoughtful and expert feedback which doesn’t end once the sale is complete. She helped us contract workers for updates needed prior to moving in and was always willing to consult over the years when we were considering a remodel; large or small. We value and appreciate the relationship we have built over the years.”
- Elinora T.
“I had just spent a couple months doing a repair/remodel project at a rental house that my wife and I decided we would sell. We also would soon be going out of town for a couple weeks for our daughter's wedding. I contacted Sarah, the house was listed and a few days later we had 3 offers. She analyzed each of those offers for us so we would make an informed decision. Once an offer was accepted Sarah kept us informed as the transaction progressed. By the time we returned from the wedding, we were closing on the sale. Sarah is a true professional in every way. She is organized, knowledgeable about real estate, detail oriented and respectful of client needs.”

Maximizing Your Return
Did you know the vast majority of our work to sell your home comes before we take professional photos? How we prepare the property matters as much as pricing, marketing, and following up with interested buyers. A well-prepared home feels bright & clean, highlights features today's buyers are seeking, and creates an inviting atmosphere that appeals to a broad audience. This usually entails at minimum a move-out, paint, deep clean and staging, but I can help you find other opportunities to invigorate your space and fetch a higher sale price. Refreshing surfaces like countertops & flooring, adding lighting, updating fixtures, and revitalizing your outdoor spaces are just a few ways to excite buyers and present a truly turnkey home. This can feel overwhelming to sellers who are busy with jobs, family, moving & other obligations. That's where Sarah can help! Below is just one example of how working with Sarah and her team of pros can completely transform your space, and increase the net proceeds from your home sale.
